Pre-Purchase Inspection
A pre-purchase home inspection is
usually conducted as a condition of an offer to purchase in order to determine
the condition of the building. The inspection will recommend necessary repairs
and suggest improvements to preserve your investment while ensuring the safety
of the buildings occupants. The home's major systems will be examined including
structure, plumbing, heating, electrical, roofing,
insulation, interior and exterior . All inspections are performed
according to the standards of practice of the Québec
Association of Building Inspectors or AIBQ. Inspections usually take approximately
2.5 to
3.5 hours
and are very thorough. Clients are should attend the
inspection and a written report will be prepared usually within 2 days of the completion
of the inspection. After you take possession of the home I would be happy
to help you if you
have any questions about construction techniques or renovations.
